Welcome to the National Carousel Association!
|
|
|
 |
Since 1973 the National Carousel Association has been working
to keep America's remaining carousels in operation. Through a
wide range of programs and projects, the NCA has participated
in the restoration and preservation of many of the antique
carousels in operation in our country today.
Want to help ensure that these carousels will be around for your
children and grandchildren?

Carousel of the Month - February, 2010
1914 Illions
Columbus Zoo
Columbus, OH
The next time you're near Columbus, Ohio, be sure to visit the zoo
and take a ride on their Grand Carousel. This
1914 Mangels-Illions carousel
is one of only a few Illions machines still in operation.
The horses on this carousel not only go up and down, they also go
sideways! Make sure to ride each of its 52 horses soon!
This carousel received the NCA Historic Carousel award in 2006!
