We're planning a tour of Story City on Friday afternoon, including stops at:

  • RVP~1875 - A working museum that features a master furniture maker who crafts 1800s style furniture using the tools and techniques from that period. Admission for this 45 minute tour will be $2.00.
  • Tours of the 1903 Bartlett Museum and the 1913 Story Theatre (oldest continuously running theater in Iowa). The admission price is $3.00, or $2.00 for just the Bartlett museum.
  • The 1859 Sheldall Country Schoolhouse
  • The 1936 Swinging Bridge.
  • Visit the 9-hole golf course in Story City on Sunday before returning home

While en route to this conference, you'll have a great opportunity to stop by the NCA archives in Leavenworth, Kansas. Please contact Jerry and Marilyn Reinhardt to make arrangements if you would like to visit the archives either before or after the conference.

Two of our horses disappeared during our
Scandinavian Days festival. They were found
in the local bar and brought to our office the
next day. I was so excited to see them.
Guess they were just thirsty.
