Gallopers
John Carter's
Jubilee Steam Gallopers
This set of Galloping Horses was originally built
by Robert Tidman & Sons c.1895 at Norwich, the
engine (No.138) is perhaps older - The 46 key
Gavioli Organ was built in Paris c.1900 - The
Horses are mainly c.1910 by Andersons of Bristol
with some copies - It is believed the machine
has opened every season since built.
It is still powered solely by Steam
